We follow the shape of a traditional school day. Children arrive around 8:30 and classes end at 3:30. The mornings are facilitated by trained educators who are assisted by parents. Afternoons feature enrichment classes taught by parents who enjoy bringing their skills and passions to the classroom. Examples include a cooking club, a photography club and a meditation group.
We are seeking a few more families families who align with our mission to join the Coop for the 2017-18 academic year. It’s not too late to contact us to learn more. We look forward to meeting you!
Monthly Fee: $500 for one child and heavy discount for additional children. Part time options are available for either 2 or 3 day a week commitments at a prorated cost. Fee covers the cost of our meeting venue, supplies, and enrichment activities.
Family Volunteering: approximately 2 days (or 4 afternoons) per month (full-time) / approximately 1 day (or 2 afternoons) per month (part-time)
Please Note: A one month deposit is collected at enrollment and applied toward the final months fee.
Scholarships and Work Trade
As Coop families we charge ourselves fees so that we can rent a space to meet in regularly and purchase supplies. We designed the Coop to be more affordable than area private schools, but we realize it’s still too expensive for many. A resourceful community, we work hard to find creative ways of meeting everyone’s needs. This includes offering a sliding scale, work trade and organizing our own fundraisers. PLEASE don't let cost deter you from reaching out to learn more. We have a strong commitment to finding ways to remove barriers for families who want to join the Coop.
